Marina View is our largest self-catering property sleeping up-to six people in 3 large bedrooms. It is a contemporary barn conversion with traditional decor. The ground floor is light and spacious making it great for entertaining. It is a converted outbuilding, dating back to the mid 1700’s. It would have originally been used as a Hay barn and is one of a range of converted barns, in a traditional L shaped Farmhouse courtyard. The rear of the property faces out onto this courtyard and at the front it has a private enclosed garden with lawn, patio and BBQ area and lush welsh countryside beyond.
The ground floor is a spacious open plan space perfect for family and friends. There are two sofas and an aim chair, flat screen TV, and Blu-ray player and coffee table. The modern kitchen/dinning area has dishwasher, fridge/freezer, oven, hob and microwave. The dining area has a large old oak table which comfortably sits 6 for eating and board games. There is a cupboard with washing machine.
This barn has thermostatically controlled under floor heating down stairs and cosy carpets and radiators upstairs, which means there is a nice ambient temperature throughout. We can moderate the temperature to the guests requirements in the colder months.
The first floor comprises of two spacious double bedrooms with kingsize beds and a twin with sky light. There is are two family bathroom one with bath (shower over) and one with a walk in shower. The ceiling heights are high with exposed beams throughout. It is furnished to a high standard, mixing contemporary décor with oak furniture and colourful soft furnishings.
Allocated parking is provided for 2 cars and there is a bike shelter and BBQ. We do allow up-to two dogs in this property. The garden is fully enclosed with a pretty boarder, a grass area and patio areas with outside table and chairs. We are able to provide a travel cot and high chair. We are within easy reach of Aldi, Morrisons and a Co-Op and many good local food shops. On our website there is a guide to local restaurants and pubs.
